Best Fantasy Sports Sites

We all have our go-to fantasy sports sites we rely on to help us make decisions on draft picks, starting rosters, pickups, and trades. But surely there are other sites out there that can give us an added advantage. Let's pool our collective knowledge, so we can all have some new weaponry for the upcoming season.

I’ll start by divulging my personal go-to sites. Share yours by adding a comment.

Rotoworld.com – Best player news on the Web bar none. Not only do they provide constant updates, they give you useful analysis with those blurbs. For example, if a player gets hurt, they’ll tell you what other players stand to benefit. Waiver-wire targets don’t get much clearer than that! And their columns can be useful…especially for those who don’t have the time to keep a close watch on everyday activities.

Baseball Monster – A great resource for getting player rankings customized to your league settings. You can specify which categories your league uses and filter by position, time period, and more. They don’t disclose the formula they use to calculate player values, but it seems to be decent. Not as accurate as my TruRankings, of course, but far better than whatever Yahoo! uses to produce the rankings you find on your Yahoo! league site. (They also have Basketball Monster for you fantasy hoopsters out there.)

The Baseball Cube – This is by far the best site I’ve found for comprehensive players stats including minor-league numbers. It’s a valuable resource, for example, when trying to decide if you should pick up a player who was just called up from the minors.

Those are my mainstays. What are yours?
