Spot Starter: Scott Feldman

Despite a 3.59 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, and nine wins on the season, Texas starter Scott Feldman is owned in just 6.8 percent of ESPN leagues. Perhaps that's because he's only punched out 53 batters in 110.1 innings. Or maybe it's because the 26-year-old owns a respectable-but-unspectacular 4.53 career ERA. Regardless, his recent performance makes him a solid pickup even in somewhat shallow mixed leagues. Over the last month, he's posted a 2.48 ERA and 1.07 WHIP. Tomorrow he faces a middle-of-the-road Detroit offense. If you could use another arm, consider Feldman.
