After missing more than two months with a scary concussion, the Bucks' Carlos Deflino finally returned to the court last night. He played 22 minutes and finished with nine points, one three, and five rebounds. Impressive that he would log that much time in his first game back, but his long-range shooting was clearly off, as he connected on just one of seven shots from beyond the arc.
It's impossible to predict how things will play out with Delfino. Will the concussion have a lingering effect on him? Will he suffer another concussion (as we see happen so often with athletes)? It's a situation worth monitoring, because Delfino was putting up some good numbers to start the season. In fact, in my six-category league (threes, points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks), Basketball Monster has him ranked 63 using full season averages thanks to his 2.3 three pointers and 1.4 steals per contest.
