Kwame Pulls 18 Boards
Kwame Brown went bonkers tonight, ripping down 18 rebounds and adding 13 points, two assists, a steal, and a block in 35 minutes. His career has clearly been rejuvenated under new coach Paul Silas; however, he has yet to provide consistent minutes or production. After getting fantasy owners excited last week with back-to-back double doubles, he crashed to Earth with three consecutive poor outings (and low minutes). Perhaps tonight's explosion will earn him more playing time, though. With Tyrus Thomas out for two months, Brown certainly has an opportunity to step up. For that reason, he probably warrants a flyer, if you've got room. What a story it would be if the legendary bust finally broke out 10 years after being selected with the first pick in the 2001 draft!
